  1. What a lame artist’s statement. This could have been a real tour de force from a cultural-critical perspective. As is, it almost seems to support the hegemonic consumer culture. Meh.

    I’m critical only because the sheer amount of time spent in this enterprise means I only assign it value if it does something other than glorify consumerism, which it certainly seems to do. (If she’d returned everything, that would have been a much stronger point in her favor.)
