  1. #2 Guns N’ Roses, “Mr. Brownstone” I believe it’s about heroin, but I’ve never heard that term for it outside of this song

  2. You got it. The only GNR song I own, because it wasn’t overplayed like most of their other tracks, and so I’m not thoroughly sick of it today.

    Heroin is the narc. I’d never heard of the “Mr. Brownstone” nickname either, before someone in college clued me in on it for this song. I’d assumed it was West Coast origined, which would be why I wouldn’t have come across it.
