  1. you know, i thought the same thing: what will michaels do outside of football for nbc? i guess olympics every two years?

    although i am intrigued by kornheiser — his radio show is arguably the best sports radio on the airwaves/internet/satalite. i enjoy good, sarcastic wit and kornheiser has that.

    there is no word that describes theisman better than “blowhard.” never in the history of the televised medium has a sports broadcaster been so in love with his own voice. he talks so much he constantly contridicts himself and apparently is completely unaware of this fact.

    this, i am afraid, will be a very bad mix.

  2. For Michaels, it’s either NHL or Arena Football games — NBC’s only other significant sports property (aside from the Olympics).

    It’s been too long since Al has called a hockey game. I can’t wait for him to come home!
