thar she blows
Is the above dead critter a de-shelled sea turtle, a mutilated raccoon — or, perhaps most sinister of all, just a Photoshopped viral marketing stunt?

Whatever it is, it’s hard to tell if this washed-ashore animal carcass will help or hurt Montauk’s tourism trade. But the online buzz over this beached “monster” is already generating more attention for the eastern tip of Long Island than I can ever remember. When all’s said and done, I think the Hamptons are going to get a run for their money!

I’m especially intrigued by the speculated connection with nearby Plum Island, which is the site of a bioresearch animal lab. Evidence of a real-life Monster Island?

The ultimate in vaginal vanity is represented by Betty Beauty, an outfit that sells specialized crotch-hair coloring. So naturally, a new series of subway-station ads for the product is catching attention.

While this subject just screams for comical riffing, I’m afraid that I already contributed my curtains-matching-the-drapes jokes when Betty first came on the market last year, with Tara’s testdriving help. So I feel like I’m done here.
