givers, not takers
The above pin button won’t mean anything to you unless you happened to attend a certain liberal arts college located in St. Petersburg, circa the early 1990s. I particularly like the “Absolut Eckerd” bottle.

Perhaps the alumni association would like this artifact for their archives. If so, give me a hollah.

I’m kinda hoping Dean Sorochty comes across this. It was a thrilling three years, Roger.

  1. I do not believe I have ever seen this button. I don’t think I understand it’s meaning. We used to have diploma’s, vodka, and dolphin in our tuna… and now (refering to whatever present the button was from) we don’t? I think I must have passed out before these were given out. Now your suggestion of collecting artifacts is an interesting idea… how about an online museum/collection of EC memorabilia pics? That would be worth a browse and laugh.

  2. Any online collection of EC memorabilia would have to have a section devoted solely to custom t-shirts: Party shirts, dorm shirts, intramural shirts… Easily the most memorable artifacts from my four years. I only wish I’d kept a couple; but I’m sure Jesse Turtle would be happy to donate some from his vast collection (photos only, of course).

Party cups would be another rich source. Now those, I’ve kept.
