Does anyone else find this lunch menu item, spied today in downtown St. Pete, strange?

Veggie Burger with a side of Stir-Fried Vegetables - $3.95

Overkill? You’re already eating what amounts to a vegetable sandwich; why would you want your side item to be more veggies? It’s like ordering a baked potato with a side of fries.

  1. Hey! What’s wrong with ordering a baked potato with a side of fries? While I’m at it go ahead and bring out some of those sour cream/butter drenched ‘tato skins, too.

  2. As always, you are a wild man. Fueled by starchy goodness, I see.

  3. Yes i would agree that is a bit of over kill - well maybe i shouldn’t use the word kill, because nothing was actually ‘killed’ in the making of this mean. :)

  5. Nothing killed? What about those poor carrots and brocollis, cut down in their prime! Just ’cause it doesn’t have a face doesn’t mean it ain’t alive!
