feed me
Ego-trippin’ time, y’all. This blog is in the running for Feedster’s Feed of the Year Award!

Not only that, but I already know that Population Statistic has made the Top 10. And I notice that the first blog on Alan Graham’s list — The Apple Blog — just happened to be counted-down as the No. 10 blog earlier today. Since my blog is at the bottom of that list… Nah, too obvious. But I can dream…

And I’ll be dreaming of a brand-new iPod, baby. A Top 3 finish nets an iPod Nano, and the grand-prize Feed of the Year winner gets the latest and greatest video-enabled iPod. Not bad! Hey, I’d have been happy with just the linkage and the button.

I was completely unaware of this until yesterday, when I got an email notifying me. Being named Feed of the Day on May 13th put me in the preliminary running; glad to see my false spam-tagging episode didn’t come back to haunt me ;)

I’m honored to be up for consideration. And yes, I’ll be checking Feedster’s blog regularly to see where I place; hopefully I’ll be checking it for several days!

UPDATE: So much for my crackpot theory. Lost Remote ticked up today at No. 9, and that’s a deviation from Graham’s list. So the final countdown is still a mystery.

The competition is stiff. I’m crossing my fingers.

I’ve pretty much ignored such best-of-b…
