Today I found a Coca-Cola machine that was hi-tech enough to be subject to the keypad-hacking trick I discovered at Transit Tech.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to trick the thing out. I had a printout of the instructions with me (they’re way too long for me to memorize), but after typing in the 4-2-3-1 to launch the menu, I was lost. I just started mashing the numbers and managed to get some sort of gobbledy-gook to display, then cut out after that novelty quickly wore off.
So no free can of Coke. Couldn’t even knock the price down to a nickel or anything. (Maybe next time I should load the instructions into my iPod, for more convenient portability.)
I felt unbelievably juvenile even attempting this trick. There was no one else around, so I didn’t have to be inconspicuous; but still.

dude, all you gotta do is find a machine with a 7-pin tubular lock (the circular locks that are used on most display cases). once u found one, get a cap from a bic pen, cut off that little thing that hangs off the bottom of the cap, jam it in the lock, and twist. voila! the machine is open!

i just read and have been reading about this “hack” on coke machines using the code 4231.. well as the owner of one of these machines i can tell you there is no way to get free product, change prices or anything else usint that code or any other code. you see you must first push the ‘mode’ button on the INSIDE of the machine to make any adjustments to price, vend quantity, free vends, or anything else free.. all that code does is give the service person sales info from the outside of the machine without the hastle of opening the machine. it is true that adjustments can be made by pushing the selection buttons BUT you MUST push the MODE BUTTON on the INSIDE of the locked machine FIRST. whoevr came up with this MYTH has got only part or the story out there. so now you know the real and whole story.

i’ve heard that the code is 432112311 and hold down the coin return button. i saw a video on ytoutuibe with that so i’m not sure if it works.

I saw this video on youtube where this dude managed to get two cokes for the price of one on the really new coke machines with the weird conveyer belt thing. He stuck his hand in so the coke wouldnt come out and so the machine thought there was nothing there and gave him his money back. Twas cool.

I tried the code it only lets you plkay with numbers, i have heard of the one code about pressing the money return button but it wouldnt work because i 4 got one number i wanna try the new machines with the conveyer belts because it looks easy and i love MD

yes this code does work after puting code in you half two put 5 pence in first then the price of the coke what will happen is 60 pence will come back out but it take ages for your can to come

I tried that 4231 and all u can do is look at how many cokes have been sold and how much money is in there so u can’t change prices or get free cokes but the taped dollar works

awright you guys are a bunch of newbs there is no machine hack unless you go insinde the machine and hit the reset button and then if it has a global uplink the alarm will go off…..if any of these work than youre on crack or you machines fucked…if you really want a coke that bad heres a tip grab yourself a fucking heavy object and break the glass, we have found skateboards work beautifully…..FUCK COKE..MT.DEW is BETTER…..the only reason someone needs to jack a machine is cause there cheap….i would only do it if there was FEYGO in the fucking machine

you can change the prices on the machines kids do it in my school all the time i dont know how to do it though but i watched one of my friends do the 4231 code and then he went to errors and then 15151 and he went to price selection and pushed 3 and the price kept going down until its at 0 and hen you push 4 and you exit or whatever and the drinks are free they are vitamin water machines so they are newer we just got them this year

Christ you people are morons. Do you even bother reading other people’s comments? Use some common sense. Why would a corporation program such a simple universal way to screw themselves out of profit onto the outside of their machines? Only thing you’ll get is sales information, and information about the machine *READ ONLY INFO*. Anyone who tells you anything else is lying.
