Check it out: Tommy at Sticks of Fire is talking to himself. And amazingly, it got the desired result.

But in a sense, aren’t all bloggers really carrying on a public monologue? I guess you should only worry when the blog starts talking back (comments/trackbacks excepted — I think).

  1. Is this like Fight Club? Has the schizophrenia taken over Tommy, but, he doesn’t realize it? Is this “Wendy” (feel free to do finger quotes in the air) an alternate personality that he has convinced himself as real. Can we get verification?

  2. It’s not schizophrenia. Can’t be. The voices inside my head are telling me it’s not.

  3. Hunk, you talk of personality splits like it’s a bad thing, somehow. Heck, look at you — use of an online alias is the first step.

As for Wendy’s existence, it seems to check out. It could all be an elaborate hoax, though. Paranoia will destroy ya.
