I’ll take the consolation prize, gladly.

Odds of not actually meeting, despite proximity, are very good, actually. When I was in Times’ Sports, I never met anyone on the other desks (of course, Sports is tucked away in the corner, and I was there mostly at night, but still).

I’m sure each others’ faces are familiar. We’ll probably end up saying, “Oh, so that’s who you are!”

Hey gang. Glad most of you liked the cover story. I was bummed about not including Costa’s blog, because it’s certainly one of the best blogs out there, but we really do have a strict policy here about sticking to sources outside the corporation. But I have featured PopStat as the spotlight blog on the blogs directory this week, so hopefully that eases the pain somewhat. (It’s true we’re on the same floor here together, but have never met. What are the odds of that?)
