If there's not a "proper" category or other tag-like marker on a blog that's otherwise obviously about a certain subject, then Technorati might be blind to it. Which would limit the effectiveness of Blog Finder. I know that here, I don't even bother with tags; Technorati picks up the category links instead. Aha — good point. I know they're trying, and it's not a huge deal for me. Still, I sometimes find myself wishing Yahoo! or Google would buy them and solve their overload problems quick. As for the hockey blogs: Beta's beta. You gotta start somewhere. I'm sure they'll refine it in short order. I feel ya.
