Have a look. Cute going with that “Blogs & Pods” header on the St. Petersburg Times homepage.

I haven’t gotten any hits from there yet… I think they’ve just now unwrapped it. so we’ll see. I’m pretty far down the page, which can’t be good for maximum exposure. But hey, I’ll take it.

There wasn’t any story to go along with this compilation, either offline or on (aside from the intro/disclaimer at the top of the directory page). So this might take awhile to really heat up…

a lot of those links are to blogs that haven’t been updated in months. kind of pointless. still cool they did it, and at least you’re not grouped in with the “personal blogs” :-)

  2. They didn’t bother to list me, which is real nice considering I have their staff emailing me with nightlife questions.

  3. Hey gang. I compiled the blog list for the Times site. Unless I missed something, all those blogs should be updated regularly. I’ve been checking those. The only reason I omitted blogs was: 1) i didn’t find it (and you’re free to send in your info; 2) i found it outdated; 2) there was no obvious local angle (for either the writer or topic). As always we encourage input. E-mail me directly at spears22@yahoo.com if you want.

  5. STICKS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Congrats go to Sticks of Fire for making the St. Petersburg Times’ Blog Spotlight. Well-deserved recognition.
I wonder if being in that Spotlight gets you a spike in traffic. I haven’t seen any increases since the blog directory went live…

  6. TBT*, THE BLOG ISSUE

After foul-tipping on their first attempt, the St. Pete Times finally got it right: This week’s issue of tbt* features a cover story on the Tampa Bay area’s prominent bloggers.
But… where am I? (Aside from a “hot spot” …
