Population Statistic: Read. React. Repeat.
Thursday, July 14, 2005

I’ve confirmed today that the aforementioned (and anticipated, at least by me) St. Pete Times blog directory is, indeed, soon to be published. It’ll probably be in this coming Monday’s off- and online editions.

I won’t say how I know. It has nothing to do with the fact that the paper’s Web Publishing department is right down the hall from my office. I came across the information quite by accident, in fact. I figured as long as I had the info, I’d try to start some preemptive buzz.

I’m looking forward to seeing how much traffic the coverage brings this way. I’m sure there’ll be some spike; I’m just wondering how much.

  1. Thank you!! I’ve been wondering what happened to the St. Pete Times’ planned list of blogs. Thanks for ending the suspense.

  2. I also wondered about the delay. It seems it takes those bohemoth newspapers scads of time to go from idea to fruition.

  4. TIMES BLOG LIST STILL ON THE WAY

Well, it didn’t run in today’s paper, as I had expected (and I wasn’t the only one).
But trust me: It’s coming. I’ve seen it, and there’s no way it won’t go live. It’s just a matter of time.
