Yeah, some out-of-towners that I deal with at work asked me if it was 'crazy' around here because of the schaivo thing..I didn't really know how to respond. I mean, its in the news here, of course, but crazy? What do they expect, people lining up on battlefields? Pandemonium? I didnt even know until just recently that Terri was being housed within the city limits.

Basically, I figure its none of my business, and it shouldnt be the business of these out of town legislators sticking their noses in it.

Oh, I've got no problem ignoring it -- I've ignored other major stories (local and non-local), simply because I didn't have anything to add that was much different from what a thousand other voices were chirping. The thoughts I'm formulating right now on Shiavo probably aren't wholly unique, but neither are they widely held. A resolution will help me fully crystalize them.

It's certainly a heavy subject. Other than a brief mention last May, I've written nothing. Although because of the prominence of the story, I cannot ignore it, either. I'll have something on it soon.
